Endowment

To ensure that there will always be funding to enhance the quality of education for Genoa-Kingston students, the Education Foundation created a permanent endowment fund. This unique sculpture, located in the commons area of the new Genoa-Kingston High School, stands as a testimonial to the dedication of our community towards the education of our youth.

Plaques can be purchased on the Wall to memorialize a loved one, or by businesses, individuals, alumni, or clubs who support the students of our school district. Money raised from Donor Wall contributions create an Endowment Fund that is managed by a professional investment team. Each year, the board of directors uses a portion of the accumulated interest to fund mini-grants that benefit our students. By using only the interest, your gift will continue to serve the schools and students for years to come. Donations are accepted in any amount and plaques are available when the pledge is $1000 to $15,000.

Our objectives are simple and straightforward:

  • To serve donors in achieving their philanthropic objectives in supporting education
  • To provide funding to enhance educational programming in the Genoa-Kingston school district
  • To create and build a lasting source of revenue to benefit the Genoa-Kingston school district and our future, which is our children
